THE PARIS END is a weekly newsletter that brings you word of the latest goings-on around town. We want to revive the art of reportage—to step away from the screen and get back out into the streets. Whether writing on the global elite or the neighborhood wine bar, we are pounding the pavement in search of stories with longevity. With more juice than a Bloody Mary, you can rely on THE PARIS END for a good time.

WHO ARE WE?

CAMERON HURST is a writer, art historian, and local news anchor.

SALLY OLDS is a writer interested in cosmopolitanism and its discontents, and author of the much (Instagram) storied People who Lunch.

OSCAR SCHWARTZ is a journalist and former poet.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

Every Thursday, paying members receive a DISPATCH or THE STARS.

DISPATCHES are columns on any and all matters of significance: profiles of the mid and famous, communiqués from parties and events, and reports on the state of the culture. These are illustrated by the cartoonist Aaron Billings.

THE STARS are a rated review section of unbridled opinion and lifestyle advice, bringing you the best and worst in trends, books, dining, and more.

SUBSCRIBE

Membership costs $5 per month or $50 for the year. Or make history and become a founding member for only $100.

Non-paying members receive one DISPATCH every month, also on a Thursday.

All content is released online and delivered via Substack.

We publish what we want to read. You’ll want to read it too. Trust us! Either way, we’ll be seeing you… on The Paris End.
